Asylum Chapel Wedding Photographer
Asylum Chapel wedding photography was definitely on my bucket list to shoot at for a long time.
Stunning photos
Taking photos with such a stunning backdrop is so easy as everywhere you shoot has character. At the end of the aisle, there are candles which add to great images with careful placement of the wedding couple behind them. You also have the angle as a photographer to get the stained glass windows in the background.
Lots of history
The Asylum chapel is a grade ll listed building that was graded between 1827 and 1833. Hearing the name ‘Asylum’ makes you think this was a home for lunatics. In fact it was actually a retirement home for old pub landlords. During the Second World War it was bombed but surprisingly leaving the stained glass windows intact. The building has so much age and character making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding.Â
A great wedding day
Stephanie and Robert’s wedding was a really great day , from start to finish. They seemed to be really great together with fantastic energy. Stephanie’s dress suited her style really well, especially with the backdrop of the Asylum chapel. They decorated the chapel and pub really tastefully with flowers in an array of pastel colours. I really can see why its such a popular wedding venue in London.
