Aspire Leeds Wedding Photography | Nina & Tom

When Nina & Tom got in contact about their Aspire Leeds wedding photography It sounded fantastic. We first met for a pre wedding shoot where we got to know each other and heard all about their big day. What became apparent was that they wanted to share the good times of the day with friends and family and not have too many traditional formalities. That suited me well as I was able to blend in to the background and document the day as naturally as possible. I believe those type of images really do represent the day in the best way.

Aspire in Leeds City centre was where the ceremony was held. Formally a bank opening up in 1894 later being restored and now used as a venue. A great balance between old and new. The ceremony was emotive and perfect with every emotion between laughing and crying.

Then jumping on a double decker red bus with the wedding guests to go to the reception. Also doubling up as a great location to take some bride and groom shots. The reception was held in a marque with a great mix of D.I.Y elements. Really adding a continuation to the relaxed feel of the day fitting with the Bride and Groom’s personality. Wood fired pizza as a wedding breakfast was a definite winner. Check out that nude homemade wedding cake! Not so nude after it was covered in all of those raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and red currants.
