Maratea Italy Wedding, Hotel Gabbiano | Andrew & Michela

When Michela and Andrew got in contact in regards to their wedding in Italy, it was an instant yes. Myself and the wife turned it into a road trip covering the beautiful Italian coast. I feel very lucky to have had chance to see this area of the country which otherwise I wouldn’t have. 

The bridal prep started in the brides parents house in Maratea, up in the mountains. It was very interesting seeing the difference in traditions, as friends and family come to see her off with her father. Throwing rice with coins for good luck.

Then continuing on to Hotel Gabbiano in Acquafredda for a pool side ceremony, reception and party. Such a beautiful ceremony with Andrew playing the guitar and Michela was coming down the Isle. A fantastic celebration of happiness with a few tears between. After the five course meal the guests partied the night away. I really hope to come back to Hotel Gabbiano and the Maratea area soon.
