I have been lucky enough to have visited Wharfdale four or five times now and it never disappoints. Not saying this lightly but I think it’s probably one of my favourite barn venues in Yorkshire. Wharfdale Grange is between Leeds and Harrogate, nestled in the stunning Yorkshire countryside. It’s a great backdrop for your wedding photo’s rain or shine. I have shot here in a mixture of Summer, Winter and everything in between. Let’s say it does rain on your day. Wharfdale Grange has a stunning interior that will look great in your images. I would describe it as a rustic barn blended with contemporary elegance. Shall we just call it a ‘luxury barn’, perhaps? The owners haven’t shied away from adding their own unique take at the same time allowing you to express your own vision of your wedding day.
Photography at Wharfdale Grange
Your photography can look incredible wherever you are in the venue. Everywhere from the bookcase hidden bridal prep suite to the often used mezzanine for the the Groom and Groomsmen finishing touches photos. If indoors, your ceremony will be in the North Barn, which has a full wall of fairy lights for your ceremony. Which really does add a great detail for your photos of the first kiss. Later on carry on your party indoors in the South Barn with comes equipped with a giant mirrorball. This room has a beautiful warm hue with an array of large chandeliers filling the background. From my photos you will be able to see one of my couples put their letters up on the balcony which added great context and background. On one visit I did the family photography in the South Barn to escape from the wind outside.

When it’s time for the outdoor photos, there is loads to choose from which makes taking photos at Wharfdale Grange real pleasure. You can have photos in front of the modern barn windows or around the corner on the rustic sandstone wall. Perhaps we could take a walk to the well-maintained gardens from the farmhouse.
